In the past two days it has rained a lot!!! Almost as if in the weeks previous, where no rain had fallen, the sky had be saving and saving and saving waiting for these days to unleash it's fury.
In the fall of 2010, my first semester of college, I went to class on a cloudy Thursday armed with my umbrella, ready for some rain. I sat through my very foreign TA try to clearly explain some math problems took a quiz and left for to return to my dorm. For those of you familiar with Michigan State University, my walk was from Berkey Hall to Bailey Hall, about 20-25 minutes. It was pouring outside, it was like someone had broke a dam and all its water was rushing out on to any soul trapped outside, but I had my umbrella...I was ready to take on this rain and make it back dry. Not 5 minutes later it was apparent that it would be impossible. Mind you I stayed under my umbrella the entire way. When I finally made it back, everything was soaked; my shoes, socks, bag, shirt, jacket, and somehow my head had gotten wet. I didn't think a night like that could ever occur again.
Tonight was that night. I became thoroughly soaked in the mere 10 seconds, I was in this rain... 10 SECONDS!!! Seriously, where does it all come from???? Sometime before 12:18am, yes that time is correct because that is the time Captain America was interrupted by a power outage, but don't worry it came back on and we finished the movie, and is still going on now 2 hours later.....
Rain Sucks.
